How it All Started:

A group of 6 Book lovers came together with a simple idea. We saw that there were plenty of cool book events and a lot of great local authors in Charlotte but noticed that something was missing. Where were our reads like Fifty Shades of Grey, Zane’s Sex Chronicles and those romance stories that made you clutch your pearls? So we decided that it was time to do a book event for all those who love a little filth with their romance and let those dark and dirty fantasies come true.  We then connected with adult romance authors from all genres to join us in the Queen City and become a proud “Smuttie” .
